A Trauma-Informed Treatment Approach, Right Here in Atlanta
Located at the top of the I-285 beltway and Georgia 400, The Meadows Outpatient Center in Atlanta offers easy access from Buckhead, Midtown, Sandy Springs, and the broader metro area. We provide trauma-informed care for adults ages 18 and older who are navigating complex emotional, relational, and behavioral challenges. Our approach considers the full picture: your personal history, your relationships, your nervous system, and your environment. We address the root causes of suffering through expert-led, whole-person care that meets you where you are.
Alcohol Addiction
If you are navigating early sobriety or returning to care after relapse, we offer the support you need. Our team works to uncover the emotional and relational drivers behind alcohol use. With a blend of evidence-based therapy, structured recovery, and a trusted clinical model, we help individuals in the Atlanta area build long-term change.

Drug Addiction
Drug use often begins as a way to manage pain, stress, or trauma. Whether you are struggling with opioids, stimulants, marijuana, or other substances, our program helps you understand the behaviors, identify root causes, and rebuild a healthy foundation for recovery.
Dual Diagnosis
Many people experience both substance use and mental health symptoms at the same time. Our clinicians are trained to treat co-occurring disorders by addressing the full spectrum of needs. We do not treat just the diagnosis, but the whole person, supporting sustainable recovery for individuals with complex experiences.

Emotional Trauma
Unresolved trauma from childhood, relationships, or life events can show up in ways that disrupt daily life. We use proven therapies like EMDR, somatic experiencing, and group work to help you process trauma, build resilience, and restore your sense of safety and connection.
Women’s Intimacy Issues
Many women struggle in silence with shame, unhealthy relationships, love addiction, or difficulty setting boundaries. Our IOP provides a safe environment to explore these issues, identify patterns, and support healing around self-worth, intimacy, and emotional clarity.

Men’s Issues
Men are often taught to hide pain, suppress emotion, or define themselves through performance. Our Atlanta IOP offers dedicated space for men to explore anger, shame, numbness, and disconnection. We help men reconnect with themselves and others through supportive group work and individual therapy.
Mental Health Concerns
Anxiety, depression, intrusive thoughts, panic, or mood swings can make daily functioning difficult. We treat these symptoms at their root, using evidence-based care to support emotional regulation, resilience, and a deeper understanding of thought and behavior patterns.

What to Expect in Our Atlanta IOP
Our IOP includes 15 to 20 hours of clinical programming each week, blending group therapy, weekly one-on-one sessions with licensed clinicians, and psychoeducational workshops. We also incorporate mind-body practices such as Trauma-Sensitive Yoga and expressive arts to support whole-person healing. With both day and evening tracks available, we make it easier to participate fully in your care while continuing to engage with daily life.
